This 9-square-meter room has an atmosphere, despite its small appearance, that you can live in for hours and hours. Although it is small,it is the only room which has a specific place for reading and a desk for writing. As we were exploring the house, we suddenly found a space behind the allegory of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar and his cat, one that was like no other in this house, and we thought that perhaps someday, some people, would come here and set pen to paper and write a story about this edifice. So, we named it Qalam (Quill) for it not to be a stranger to what distinguishes it.
